Some 19 golfers turned up at South Winchester on what turned out to be a beautiful sunny and warm day.
The course was very attractive, although let down by the very poor state of the Greens (they had just been treated and were like concrete!), at least that is my excuse!

We then all met up back at the Royal Southern for a pleasant supper and prizegiving in the River Room. It should be remembered that those of you who cannot actually make the Golf are still welcome to come to the Supper in the evening.

The next meeting is at Bramshaw on the Forest Course on Friday, 13th June (lucky for some!). This should be an excellent opportunity to get out and meet the wild life of the New Forest on a 'one to one basis', alternatively you can use the fairways!
