Disappointment For Team 747 - Rough Final Leg Slows Boat With No Trim Tabs in Reports & News
The faster boats were in the wet pits at Portsmouth’s Gunwharf Quays in time for a 12.30 lunch but for the five competitors in the Historic Class, the day was to be long and bumpy and it was mid-afternoon before class winner, Gee, skippered by John Guille, rounded the breakwater and a further 40 minutes before Team 747 came home.

Round Britain Powerboat Race in the Classic Class in Reports & News

The Motor Boat Committee are delighted to announce that Club member Chris Clayton and his crew have entered the 2008 Round Britain Powerboat Race in the Classic Class (CC1).

Chris will go round Britain under the Royal Southern Burgee in GEE (formally owned by the late The Honourable Edward E. Greenhall – the name GEE being his initials spelt backwards!)
