| Honorary members, Sam Davies and Miranda Merron, have just smashed the Round Britain and Ireland monohull speed record. They crossed the finish line just off Ventnor on the Isle of Wight at 0840hrs and 29 seconds on June 22nd 2009, beating the overall speed record by 17hrs 16 minutes. |

| Sam and Miranda were part of a team lead by Dee Caffari onboard her Open 60 “Aviva” with Alex Sizer and Isabelle Joschke. |
