The Royal Southern Yacht Club is delighted to be hosting the first ever Class 40 World Championship in Hamble from Tuesday 18th - Friday 21st August.
The Notice of Race and Entry Forms are now available to download from the Club's download page as well as a detailed competitor information document to help with planning and logistics. |
| The Class 40 was granted provisional ISAF recognition following ISAF's mid year meeting in May, allowing them to host their first official World Championship this year. |
| The programme of racing will include a race around the Isle of Wight as well as a mixture of coastal and long windward, leeward style races. Breakfast is included in the entry as well as a Crew dinner and live band on the Thursday evening. All competing yachts will be moored in front of the Royal Southern for the duration of the event. |
