A very warm welcome to the Royal Southern Yacht Club's 2008 Racing Programme.

Here on the Racing home page you will find links to the latest news, results and files.
We could not host these events without the expertise and support of our volunteer members and staff, both afloat and ashore, so I take this opportunity to thank them all.

I wish you all fair winds and enjoyable sailing in 2008.

A very warm welcome to the Royal Southern Yacht Club's 2008 Racing Programme.

This season includes our traditional Monthly Regattas, and many new events too, not least a J109 'Multi - Race' Series and an all new ''Level Rating' Series (Replacing IRM).

Our biggest event will be the ''J Cup'' Regatta in May when we expect  100 entries ranging from J80s to J144s with some 400 competitors.
We will again host the SB3s 'Solent Cup' and the Contessa 32s Nationals as well as an all new ''Women's Open Keel Boat Championship'' in June - all in all a very busy season afloat.
All our events, apart from our Club Pursuit Race, are open to both members and non members alike and after a day afloat we welcome all competitors back to our superb clubhouse where we offer a well stocked bar and a great choice of food.

Additionally, this season our newly refurbished 'en suite' bedrooms will also be available to those who prefer to spend the night in comfort ashore.

We could not host these events without the expertise and support of our volunteer members and staff, both afloat and ashore, so I take this opportunity to thank them all.

I wish you all fair winds and enjoyable sailing in 2008.
