| All competitors, race officials and volunteers were ready to go at 8.30 am this morning for the Solent University Laser SB3m Match Racing Championships. |
| To ensure a fair competition the six Pelican Racing Laser SB3's were allocated by a draw conducted by James Tilley - RYA Youth Racing Operations Officer and Race Officer Simon Hand. Despite the mist and rain all teams are now out on the water and racing. |
| The teams competing today are: Boat 3 - Southampton Solent pym - Ben Pym, Boat 6 - Southampton Solent witty - Chris Witty, Boat 9 - Southampton University - Andy Shaw, Boat 10 - Portsmouth University - Tom Cheney, Boat 5 - Cardiff University - Dom Breen-turner, Boat 8 - Team Myant - Nial Myant. |
