| The Royal Southern Flotilla had an excellent turn out at the Inland Championships with 10 boats entered out of a total fleet of 94. |
The conditions were near perfect for the more experienced sailors with 8-15 knots both days but fairly challenging for the 8-10 year olds! In fact Charles Handley decided that after a few valiant laps he would have more fun in the playground but full marks for having a go! Isabelle Waha was a star, completing most races with a ready smile and showing great determination.
Good steady performances from Nicholas Walters, Annabel Whelan and Alice Handley saw them featuring in the teens for some parts of some races which was fantastic as the standard of racing was very high. |
| Making the top half, Ben Childerley, attending his first big event was a very good 39 th, Conor Whelan was 36th, Emily Walters 16th , Joshua Waha our top 10 year old at a brilliant 10th and Emma Handley a fabulous 5 th and top girl overall. |
