Hi!

I'm Jeff, 35 and living just north of Brighton. I'm looking to gain some extra experience either racing or cruising around the Solent area.

Qualifications wise I am competent crew, VHF and fist aid qualified (2017). I'm looking to complete my dayskipper this year (hence the crew add!) so any opportunity would be welcomed.

Experience wise I have one trans-atlantic with many many night hours; Plymouth>Milford Haven; some entry level racing in Plymouth sound; and crewed as part of the Ioninan Rally last year.

I am available at weekends and can do short notice!

Thanks

Jeff :).

Hi,
I am looking for 1 or 2 crew to include in our crew pool. We already have a pool of 5 people and we usually aim to sail with 3-4 crew. The boat is a brand new Arcona 410. She is an extremely responsive and well-equipped performance cruiser. We sailed her from Stockholm to Hamble in June and these days we are mainly cruising around the Solent on weekends. Our future cruising plans include short trips along the south coast of England and long-weekend trips across the English Channel to France. We are ideally looking for like-minded people who we'll enjoy spending time with and who have obtained at least their day skipper or have similar level of experience. If you are interested for some easy-going but fun cruising please send an informal sailing CV and tell a little bit about yourself. You can reach me on escapade9044@gmail.com. Best regards.

I am a relatively new owner of a very sturdy and comfortable Fisher 34 motor sailor based in Chatham Kent. The boat is very tricky to sail single handed. As I am inexperienced I am looking for competent crew/day skippers to come to Kent to give me a hand on weekend sails in the Medway.

Classic ocean-going Vertue moored in Poole, Dorset.
Sailing from Poole to different locations and for different durations, e.g. IOW, South West coast, Cornwall, Ireland, France.
Any other activities if interested, e.g. fishing, snorkelling, diving (I have an Open Water qualification but haven't dived much and would need to get some new equipment).
Helping out if desired, e.g. learning to beach boat.
I took my Offshore Yachtmaster at Hamble school in 2010. I purchased an ocean-going classic Vertue in 2014 and renamed her Natural Selection. I have spent 2 years fitting her out and learning about her. I started single-handed sailing her a year ago but need a crew to sail overnight further afield.
I am a retired maths textbook author, born 1955.
I represent the HumanistsUK in West Sussex and set up groups in Chichester and Horsham. I have several no-for-profit writing projects in hand.
Other interests include DIY, tree climbing, films.

I am an Australian looking to relocate to the Solent and am looking to continue and expand my sailing in the UK. I have a high level of experience in dinghy and sportsboat racing (competed in numerous state and national champs) and have competed in a number of Cat 1 and 2 offshore races in Aus, including the 2016 Sydney to Hobart. I am looking to relocate to the UK in March/April. I am interested in competing in the 2017 Fastnet race, Cowes Race week and as many races I can. I am young, fit and keen to get well into my sailing over in the UK. Regards, Thomas
