I am an Australian looking to relocate to the Solent and am looking to continue and expand my sailing in the UK. I have a high level of experience in dinghy and sportsboat racing (competed in numerous state and national champs) and have competed in a number of Cat 1 and 2 offshore races in Aus, including the 2016 Sydney to Hobart. I am looking to relocate to the UK in March/April. I am interested in competing in the 2017 Fastnet race, Cowes Race week and as many races I can. I am young, fit and keen to get well into my sailing over in the UK. Regards, Thomas

Hello! I am 19 years old and in my first year at Plymouth University.
I am looking for some opportunities to gain more yacht racing experience during university holidays. I have sailed all my life (first outing on a yacht at 6 weeks!) and my experience is as follows:
~ Cruising on family yacht - Solent, Channel and South West coast.
~ Sailed a range of dinghies from Optimists to Laser Radial, taking part in club racing.
~ Summer 2016 - dinghy and keelboat instructor at UKSA in Cowes. Here I also took Racing in J80s.
~ Currently - University Yacht Club team: J80 Match Racing and the upcoming Student Yacht Nationals to be held in Portsmouth, April 2017.
~ Working towards my Day Skipper Qualification.
~ Royal Southern Yacht Club Academy member
I am a fun and friendly sailor and very keen to get more racing experience under my belt. I am comfortable in Pitt however happy to move around and learn the ropes elsewhere!
Send me an email or give me a call on 07522 577202.
Thank you!

Hi, I’m looking for more opportunities to race

Hi, I’m looking for more opportunities to race. I’ve had extensive experience cruising aboard a Jeaunneau 45.2 and have my watch leader, with the dayskipper to follow next year. I have also raced in the UKSA ASTO small ships race and in the Round the Island race, both in a Sigma 38. While not hugely experienced on the racing side I am quick and eager to learn, and also young and agile enough to get around the boat.
Look forward to hearing from you.
