Clubhouse Updates- October 2020
Entry to the Clubhouse: As you will have noticed, we have been testing and trialing the best point of entry to the Club. Going forward entry will be via at the main doors leading to reception. There you will find a member of our Front of House team who will take your details for NHS Track and Trace.
Track and Trace: From Thursday 24th September, as you enter the Club we will have Track and Trace QR codes which can be used with the NHS COVID-19 app. If this is not viable for you a member of our team will be available to take the required details.
Face Coverings: Following the latest Government announcements, we will be implementing the use of face coverings for all non-seated customers as per yesterdays government updates. We would politely ask that a face covering is worn upon entry to the Club until you have been seated at your table and again as you exit the premises.
Reservations: We will be continuing to take bookings for lunch and dinner reservations for our restaurant service, for our current opening hours click here while our October hours can be found below. With regards to our bar service, these tables are based on a first-come, first-serve basis. All our tables both upstairs and down have a maximum capacity of 6. Bookings can be made via firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. On receipt of your booking request, you will receive a confirmation email of your reservation.
Table Service: We trailed our full table service last weekend with great success and are therefore ready for the latest Government rules. We will be continuing full table service for food and beverages. We ask that you remain seated with your table of up to 6 people and do not mingle with other tables.
Extra Precautions: Our team at the Royal Southern are committed to creating a safe space for all members, and staff. This can be seen in the number of precautions that have been put in place including the use of cloches during restaurant service, as well as maintaining a 2m distance between tables. To further these precautions and to keep in line with government guidance our Front of House team will be in face coverings, please do let them know should you have trouble communicating through the mask.
