Our recent Macmillan Cancer Coffee Morning proved to be far more than coffee and cake. Guest speaker Mrs. Emma Wyman (née Russell), who grew up at the Royal Southern and is now a dedicated Macmillan Cancer Nurse, gave an inspiring illustrated talk, “A Day in the Life of a Macmillan Nurse.” Around eighty guests from the Club and Hamble community attended, with funds boosted by a parallel Coffee Morning hosted at home by one of our team. Together, we raised almost £1,600 for Macmillan Cancer Care. Warm thanks to everyone who baked, poured, hosted, and supported this memorable event.
