2025 saw us run one of the largest racing programmes in the UK with lots of major events including multiple national and international level regattas – plus plenty of other smaller racing activity. We have had lots of positive feedback from every one of these events – particularly regarding the quality of the Race Management. It is evident that we have an excellent reputation for running world class racing events – and this is, if anything, only improving. This is all down to the dedicated, passionate and professional volunteers who give up their time to help out – so thank you to those of you who volunteered.

Over the past few years, we have worked hard to make our racing events enjoyable and rewarding, not only for the sailors, but for the volunteers as well. If you have enjoyed helping out in the past, we would encourage you to sign up for one or more events in 2026. If you haven’t volunteered with us before, please do come along and give it a go – no experience required. For those of you who wish to take the next step, we run a full Race Management Development Programme – please email the Sailing Office for more details.
