Welcome to the Fundraising Team

The Fundraising Team is a big part of Club life, bringing members together through a fun and interesting mix of events and social gatherings. We’re all about creating great experiences while raising money for fantastic causes—both local charities and Club enhancements. With the support and enthusiasm of our members, we can make a real difference.

Our Goal

For 2025, we’ve set ourselves the challenge of raising £25,000 for great causes. This year, we’re supporting Mountbatten Hampshire, Wetwheels Hamble, Dementia UK, and Macmillan Cancer Support, along with fundraising for Club enhancements. It’s an ambitious target, but with a fantastic line-up of events, socials, and—most importantly—your support, we know we can achieve it!

How We Work

The Fundraising Core Team oversees the planning and delivery of our annual fundraising programme, creating events and ensuring that our events run smoothly and successfully. To share the workload, we have three Co-Chairs leading the team, supported by our newly introduced Helping Hands Team (HHT).

The HHT is a fantastic way for members to get involved on a more flexible basis, offering support as and when they can. Meeting quarterly over coffee and cake, the HHT provides a relaxed space to:

• Share ideas and insights
• Plan and discuss upcoming events
• Confirm volunteer support and contributions

Get Involved

Whether you’re keen to help organise an event, lend a hand on the day, or simply support our fundraising efforts by attending our socials, we’d love to have you on board. Every contribution, big or small, helps us reach our goal and make a difference.
