Since its inception in 2006, the Sporting Clays (formerly shooting) Society remains a great way to meet other Club members.

The SCS is open to Club members, their partners, and their guests. We very much welcome novices (who receive tuition from qualified instructors) as well as gun owners.

The new name portrays the sporting aspect of our activity, which is enhanced at each event by individual prizes for High Gun and a mixed-ability team competition.

A typical day starts with breakfast baps & hot drinks followed by a safety briefing and then professionally organised activities. Afterwards, we adjourn to a local restaurant for prize giving and lunch.
